Meet Deidre N. Williams, PhD(c), MIS, CDE®, CCMP, CSM


With 20 years in corporate learning and talent development, Deidre N. Williams, PhD(c), MIS, CDE®, CCMP, CSM is a keen professional with a consistent record of maximizing profitability through the execution of successful strategic learning initiatives. Throughout her diverse career, she has served in key leadership positions overseeing both domestic and international business endeavors with industry innovators such as pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co., Intrepid Learning Solutions, a pioneering firm leading learning and development solutions world-wide, Total System Services, Inc., the second-largest card processor in the world and world-renowned supplemental insurance giant, and AFLAC.


As a result- and achievement-oriented seasoned learning and development professional, Ms. Williams has attained extensive trainings and certifications from The Association of Talent Development (formerly the American Society of Training & Development), Development Dimensions International, PROSCI, the SCRUM Alliance, the London Image Institute, and the American School of Protocol. She is both a Master Trainer and Master Facilitator (ATD & DDI) and is a certified practitioner in the following disciplines: Measuring Return On Investment (ROI), Human Performance Improvement (HPI), Change Management (CCMP) and Scrum, where she earned the certifications of being a Scrum Master (CSM) and a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). She also holds a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE)® designation from the Institute of Diversity Certification (IDC)®.


In December of 2018, Deidre brought her passion and vision for a learning culture to EMC Insurance as the Vice President of Learning and Development. In this role, Deidre oversees EMC’s robust enterprise learning solutions to include industry designations, professional and leadership development training, executive coaching, virtual training, new commercial underwriting training, new commercial claims adjuster training, change management, the mentoring program, the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Office, and EMC University. Deidre and her team are hyper-focused on ensuring transformative learning experiences for all EMC team members.
